Why Clean Hydrogen? Why Now?

Clean hydrogen provides a promising pathway to large-scale deep decarbonization. With supply-side incentives through the Inflation Reduction Act taking effect as soon as January 2023, clean hydrogen will require new market frameworks to verify clean electricity credentials and support and scale commercial transactions.

On December 8 2022 CEBI hosted an informational session exploring use cases, financing mechanisms, policy considerations, and prerequisite market instruments.
